I had to install a little test lab with some virtual machines. One of the requirements was to install Teamviewer Host on it for external access. I did create a master VM that I could clone the other machines from it. The problem is not new and wasn’t a surprise for me. If you try to install Teamviewer Host on a cloned machine you’ll get on every machine the same Teamviewer ID like the master VM. This is because Teamviewer use the VolumeID of your Systempartition to generate the Teamviewer ID.
The solution in this case is to change the VolumeID with a little tool from Microsoft Technet. After a restart you can install Teamviewer Host again and you’ll get a new ID!
